To all my friends, thank you for being a friend

“The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it.” – Hubert H. Humphrey

“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together. Keep me in your heart. I’ll be there forever.” – Winnie the Pooh

“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light” – Helen Keller

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” –  Marcel Proust

Even in the toughest economic or political times, there are numerous reasons to be grateful. The old saying tells us to count our blessings, but sometimes that can be difficult to do. It doesn’t have to be Thanksgiving for you to feel grateful and express that gratitude. Today I want to take this chance to take my friends, I appreciate them all. This past year I have had very good friends, friends

I am thankful for our friendship because you love me for who I am. You support my positives and encourage me to pursue my dreams. I know you also see my negatives, but you are willing to accept me and love me anyway.

Every time I need support in life, you’re always there standing behind me. So good to have you in my life, thank you for being my best friend! Thanks for sharing an awesome and crazy friendship that always makes me smile and never let me down.

Thank you for always being there. Thank you for always making me laugh. It’s so easy to talk to you and hang out with you. I wish we lived closer because I would get to see you more often, but I am grateful that our paths have crossed each other and we are friends now.

Countless times, you have proved that friendship goes beyond words and encompasses actions. As a friend you have never been lacking in words of comfort or in deeds. I’m thankful for your friendship. Thank you for always being there for me.

Friends, your kind words, sincere concern and caring gestures serve as a great source of strength for me. Thank you for being there for us and offering your steadfast presence in our sorrowful time. Always in my heart!

Remember: Don’t let another day go by without thanking your best friend, a far away friend, a college roommate you’ve kept in touch with, or someone who has been an extra special friend to you over the years. Tell your friend why you are thankful for her today.
